So I made some houmous with tinned chick peas olive oil garlic roasted peppers etc
The roof of my mouth and inside my ears are itching
It happens when I eat kiwi fruit too

Where's the veggo stuff come from?
CHICK peas, by some sort of gastronomic coincidence, go well with CHICKen.
Nothing to do with etymology, as "chick" in chick peas means "pea" (think Little Pea - Chicarito - also gives this thread its West Ham connection).

Sorry to hear that Alfs.
When the corona thing started, I stopped eating meat. I only lasted about 2 months but it can be done. There are alternatives out there.

I'm having some health problems at the moment and for some reason have become repulsed by meat - which has been my diet all my life. I love it. Well, loved it. It seems that my body has different ideas.

I tried some french natural wine last week.
Very nice although not really worth the extra couple of quid.
Apparently it doesn’t give you a hangover as there’s no chemicals used in its production.

On a side note, if using bug repellant get the one that does not use Deet. It's a common ingredient but has some concerns for health issues.
Get the ones with Picaridin instead, works just the same without any health concerns.

Try buying organic, my son was allergic to strawberries, turns out they're like a sponge and absorb all the pesticides, so it was the pesticides that were the problem.
Now he eats organic strawberries no problem.

The immune system doesn't ask your brain what you've eaten.
It reacts to a protein, and doesn't care where the protein comes from. Some of these proteins are in both peanust and proper nuts.

ES thinking about it I think it’s the pith on nuts that I have a reaction to as well. Rather than a specific type of nut it’s just when I eat nut pith
